This year has so far consisted of a number of significant additions to the NuVision team. This month, we are delighted to announce the appointment of our new Sales and Marketing Director, Jonathan Hamill-Keays, who will lead and work alongside our new Territory Development Managers, Sandra Johnson, Lynn Paine and Julie Munroe.

Jonathan has over 30 years experience in clinical research, Sales and Marketing and Business Development. Previous positions include working in Operations at Smith Klein & French, clinical data management at Glaxo Laboratories and Clinical Research Manager at Serono Laboratories prior to completing an MBA at Bradford University. Jonathan joins us from Chiesi Ltd, where he established and grew their Specialist Medicines Division in the UK including the launch of products in Neonatal Intensive Care, Cystic Fibrosis and Transplantation. Jonathan’s extensive knowledge and expertise in driving sales together with management and leadership skills will be hugely beneficial to NuVision as the company expands.

Jonathan said of the appointment “NuVision is representative of the fundamental shift in medicine that will take place in the next few years as science and clinical practice move together to bring regenerative medicine from academia to everyday clinical practice. I am proud to be offered the opportunity to be part of one of the companies that is already delivering these benefits to patients”.

Jonathan will be leading our newly formed initial sales team, who will be working closely with the NHS and UK hospitals, to inform and make Omnigen available to those patients who will greatly benefit from it.

Sandra Johnson has over 26 years’ experience working in medical sales having worked across 7 therapeutic areas including cardiovascular (hypertension/lipids), menopause, smoking cessation, dermatology, diabetes, respiratory disease and ophthalmology. Having launched products in both primary and secondary care, Sandra is a highly driven and dynamic person who will be a valuable asset to our team.

Lynn Paine joins us from Chiesi Ltd where she was the National Training Manager for the Special Care Division. Prior to this, she had a highly successful career in medical sales for over 15 years having started her career teaching science to 11 to 18 year olds. She is an exceedingly skilled trainer from a high calibre pharmaceutical specialist care background and will cover the Midlands region of the UK.

Julie Munroe joins us as Territory Development Manager for the North of England. She has over 18 years experience in pharmaceutical sales including working in Oncology, Renal Medicine and Transplantation. Julie understands the working environment within hospitals having trained as both a nurse in Acute Medicine and practised as a Registered Midwife.

Our 3 new Territory Development Managers will form the initial sales team which will grow in number as Omnigen use and awareness increases alongside consequential company growth and expansion. The team aim to support users in conjunction with supporting the ambitions of NuVision. Increasing use of OmniLenz in UK emergency departments and clinics will shorten the patient care pathway. Early intervention should prevent the frequency of serious eye conditions that are referred to surgery. The team hope to promote this to the NHS in order to significantly improve quality of life for patients as well as saving financial resources in the NHS.

CEO, Dr Andrew Hopkinson commented “The team are extremely excited to welcome Jonathan to the team. His depth of knowledge and experience in driving sales and business acquisition will be hugely beneficial to the company as we grow and develop both nationally and into markets worldwide.”

NuVision are delighted to welcome the new members and these successful developments. The team is positive about increasing relationships with UK clinical customers as a result.
