What we are looking for:

NuVision is now looking for an exceptional and committed Manufacturing Technician to support the production of Omnigen, in accordance with a Quality Management System which meets the requirements of the Human Tissue Authority. The successful candidate will contribute to routine manufacturing and quality control of Omnigen, whilst contributing to the day-to-day operational activity of our high-tech clean room manufacturing facilities. Outstanding A-level applicants will be considered for the post.

This is a permanent role starting as soon as possible and includes a 3-month probationary period.

Key responsibilities

  • Support Omnigen manufacturing under aseptic conditions and to quality-controlled standards.
  • Manufacturing of production kits used during manufacture.
  • Performing a quality control check of Omnigen products to ensure suitability for distribution.
  • Perform final product testing of processed tissues.
  • Maintaining records of Omnigen and kits manufactured.
  • Operation and maintenance of clean room facility and equipment.
  • Ensuring all equipment used in manufacturing is clean and fit for use.
  • Performing environmental monitoring of the cleanroom facility.
  • Participate in regular quality and operational meetings.
  • Support internal audit procedures.
  • Participate in quality related activities including but not limited to writing SOPs and WI.
  • Participate in regular quality and operational meetings.
  • Support consumables stock management.

Candidate profile

  • A level / HNC / HND. Ideally science focused.
  • Ability to follow instructions written and verbal.
  • Great time management skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Problem solving abilities and a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Positive and committed work ethic.
  • Good communication skills, in person and electronically.

Salary: £21,000.00-£23,600.00 per year
