What we are looking for:
NuVision is now looking for an exceptional and committed Manufacturing Technician to support the production of Omnigen, in accordance with a Quality Management System which meets the requirements of the Human Tissue Authority. The successful candidate will contribute to routine manufacturing and quality control of Omnigen, whilst contributing to the day-to-day operational activity of our high-tech clean room manufacturing facilities. Outstanding A-level applicants will be considered for the post.
This is a permanent role starting as soon as possible and includes a 3-month probationary period.
Key responsibilities
- Support Omnigen manufacturing under aseptic conditions and to quality-controlled standards.
- Manufacturing of production kits used during manufacture.
- Performing a quality control check of Omnigen products to ensure suitability for distribution.
- Perform final product testing of processed tissues.
- Maintaining records of Omnigen and kits manufactured.
- Operation and maintenance of clean room facility and equipment.
- Ensuring all equipment used in manufacturing is clean and fit for use.
- Performing environmental monitoring of the cleanroom facility.
- Participate in regular quality and operational meetings.
- Support internal audit procedures.
- Participate in quality related activities including but not limited to writing SOPs and WI.
- Participate in regular quality and operational meetings.
- Support consumables stock management.
Candidate profile
- A level / HNC / HND. Ideally science focused.
- Ability to follow instructions written and verbal.
- Great time management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Problem solving abilities and a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Positive and committed work ethic.
- Good communication skills, in person and electronically.
