This week, NuVision Biotherapies attended ‘Pitch@Palace’ on tour at KPMG in Birmingham. Pitch@Palace is an initiative set up by HRH Prince Andrew, Duke of York, in order to provide entrepreneurs with guidance and help as well as connecting them with potential investors and supporters  to accelerate and grow their business.C4n6geXVcAEcjlg.jpg-large

The event is open to start up business as well as those that already have a commercial product launched. Having submitted an application, NuVision were one of those invited to attend the event. The Dragon’s Den style event gave 16 different human technology based companies the chance to pitch to Prince Andrew and a panel of experts.

The competition was tough and the judging panel – including HRH Prince Andrew – were very impressed with all the participants.  Rachel and Adrian did an amazing job of pitching for NuVision, and received great feedback.

Three companies were then selected to progress to the boot camp stage at the University of Nottingham next month where they will pitch again as well as receive business support, investment advice and pitch development skills.

NuVision were delighted to be one of the three that were selected to progress to the next stage. Following this, around 12 companies will be selected and will have the chance to pitch to investors at St James’ Palace, London.

NuVision are thrilled to have been taken forward to boot camp and immensely proud of our team, especially Rachel and Adrian, who joined us through our intern program and have both proven to be great assets to the company.
